We took this with us on a road trip where toilets would be scarce. I bought a little pop up tent to erect at the roadside to offer privacy. The toilet is lower than your standard toilet so if you're tall, it will be a drop sitting down or if you have bad knees, you might need a hand sitting down and getting up. Was it easy to use and clean? Yes, I think so. This was a tinkles only toilet for the girls, so we all used it when needed, then dumped the bucket at the side of the road, sprayed it with cleaner then used sanitizing wipes. It's not the sturdiest plastic, but considering it will only be used for occasional road trips, it's fine. The lid and seat snaps into the toilet and it did come out a few times because the moulding isn't perfect. It's actually quite expensive for what it is, but it served a purpose for the girls trip and one of the users was over 20st. The toilet height was ok for all of us because all users are short (5'4). It wouldn't be as pleasant for people over 5'4/5'5. I'm happy we had this little piece of kit, but maybe a bucket and a swimming noodle would have been a cheaper option. Alternatively, to compensate for it being low, you could put it up on something the height of a pallet which would have made it perfect, but we couldn't take a pallet on our trip. It held up and came back home in one piece. It does take up a bit of space in the boot, but we flipped it upside down where you have room to put a few things.

Now ladies, none of us like the middle of the night dash in the rain across a cold field to the loo especially when we are of a certain age and frequency becomes an issue. This was my best new camping purchase. I am by no means light and this loo is sturdy and the right size. I kept it in one of the tent bedrooms and just added water and toilet duck to the bowl. No smells but I only used it for number ones. Easy to empty and clean too. The cover is great because if you turn it upside down with the cover on there is room to store loo rolls, toilet duck, baby wipes etc when travelling. Brilliant.
